Last Tuesday, March 4th, OC REGISTER, interviewed Ronnie Thornton and Jordan DeMeis for an article in the BUSINESS section titled “Retail Leasing Isn’t So Simple Anymore” see pictures below and link to the article here:

The Article made the front page of the BUSINESS section.

It’s been a busy start of the year for Southwest Commercial broker/agents, Dennis De Meis, Ronnie Thornton and Jordan De Meis.  The current issue of Orange County Business Journal “OCBJ” mentioned Southwest Commercial’s leases and sales in 3  out of the 7 published commercial real estate deals (see picture below)

And..the momentum continues with 2 new escrows opened by Southwest Commercial last Thursday, totaling $7.2 million.  Southwest Commercial is also in the middle of negotiations with several exciting Retail clients.  More CRE news to come!!

Vans Skate Park Huntington Beach – Breaks Ground

Southwest Commercial attended the ground breaking ceremony for the new Van’s Skate Park in Huntington Beach.

Ronnie Thornton with Southwest Commercial represents all of Jack’s Surfboards real estate endeavors and both played a key role in the real estate development of this project.  Southwest Commercial  is currently negotiating a new lease for the restaurant / food location next to the Jacks Garage which will be located at the entry of Van’s Skate Park Huntington Beach.  The food establishment will be announced  here on our blog – stay tuned !

Huntington Beach Mayor claimed that South Huntington Beach is known as “Surf City” – and now – North Huntington Beach will become known as “Skate City” with the arrival of the new Van’s Skate Park!

South Coast Kitchen – Restaurant Client in San Juan Capistrano

Southwest Commercial represented South Coast Kitchen in their recent lease at the Marbella Plaza in San Juan Capistrano. Now open ! with a daily breakfast and lunch menu and stay tuned for “bistro nights”.

 

I would like to take a moment to recognize Mr. Jordan De Meis and Southwest Commercial.  

 Jordan was my agent during a very long and difficult search for a space to open my restaurant in.  He was never impatient and always came back with new listings that fulfilled the requirements that I had.
 Once a space was chosen Jordan handled the negotiations with skill and experience.  His calm demeanor and patience/professionalism were exceptional.  Thanks to Jordan I was able to sign a lease I was comfortable with and am now running my restaurant.  I would gladly recommend Jordan and Southwest Commercial to anyone needing commercial representation.
